Review: Works good - Used this for helping to apply wall paper, taking those bubbles out Works good, very sturdy, strong material Easy to work with Review: Worked Well for Traditional Wallpapering - I installed 27" wide traditional wallpaper using this brush and it was very helpful. I had not installed wallpaper using adhesive in a long time, but knew the 27" wide roll would be challenging with potentially gluey fingers. This brush was great as a smoothing brush! I was surprised how well it smoothed the bubbles and was firm enough to push the paper into the corners and edges (I used an hard edging tool prior to cutting the access paper). For not a ton of money, this brush made my job much easier. I don't know if it would be helpful with peel and stick wallpaper, but will try it next time that project comes around. ## Features - 12", smoothing Brush, great for smoothing wallcovering, as well as for faux finishing - Adds extra shine to your product - Manufactured in China - Ideal for seam setting, smoothing wallcoverings, - Makes jobs fast easy and neat - 12" covers large areas at one time - Professional looking results - Easy to use ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000RXC6GQ | | Best Sellers Rank | #323,102 in Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Home Improvement ) #66 in Flat Paintbrushes | | Brand | Zinsser | | Bristle Type | Synthetic | | Brush Width | 12 Inches | | Colour | Multicolour | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,503 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Wood | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00047719980124 | | Handle Type | stick | | Included Components | Zinsser 98012 12-Inch Smoothing Brush | | Item Type Name | Zinsser 98012 12-Inch Smoothing Brush | | Item Weight | 172 g | | Manufacturer | Zinsser | | Manufacturer Part Number | 98012 | | Material | Wood | | Model number | 98012 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Size | 1 Pack | | UPC | 047719980124 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Zinsser - **Colour:** Multicolour - **Handle Material:** Alloy Steel, Wood - **Product Dimensions:** 18L x 5.5W x 17H Centimeters - **Specific Uses For Product:** Wall, Tile, Ceiling ## Images ![98012 12-Inch Smoothing Brush - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/615fN+y5geL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this good to use for a strie paint effect?** A: I would think this would work great for the effect you want. I haven’t ever done this type of painting but I feel this brush would be perfect in my opinion. Thanks. **Q: Does this have a spot to attach a rolling pole to?** A: No, mine doesn't. **Q: What is it made out of?** A: The handle is hard plastic, I would think the bristle is a type of plastic as well. It didn't scratch or tear but it's stiff. **Q: Use for applying contact paper?** A: usually used for wallpapering. never used for contact paper, but if you slowly unroll the paper while smoothing down with brush, i don't see why it wouldn't work. this helps! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works good *by P***R on 8 October 2020* Used this for helping to apply wall paper, taking those bubbles out Works good, very sturdy, strong material Easy to work with ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked Well for Traditional Wallpapering *by M***T on 25 April 2024* I installed 27" wide traditional wallpaper using this brush and it was very helpful.
