Vashe Wound Solution is intended for cleansing, irrigating, moistening, debridement and removal of foreign material including microorganisms and debris from exudating and/or dirty wounds, stage 1-4 pressure ulcers, venous insufficiency ulcers, diabetic ulcers, post-surgical wounds, first- and second-degree burns, abrasions, minor irritations of the skin, diabetic foot ulcers, ingrown toe nails, grafted and donor sites and exit sites. It is also intended for moistening and lubricating absorbent wound dressings. 8.5 Fluid Ounce Bottle.

Review: Fantastic Product - Don't hesitate to buy it. - I had a pretty bad 7" wound on my leg - was in hospital for 5 days when it became infected. They started using this on it to clean it between bandage changes and it cleared the infection. I also had home nursing daily to change dressing and they also loved using this product. It does not sting at all - and the results I got were more than terrific. I highly recommend this for general wound care - scrapes, cuts, etc. It takes care of flushing out any dirt as well as helps the wound heal faster. It doesn't take a lot, so I think the cost is minimal compared to other items sold for the same purpose. Definitely try it - it's worth every penny spent.

**Q: How do you use it?**
A: This product DOES NOT require dilution.  Cleanse your wound and/or saturate gauze and let it soak on the wound for a minute or two.  Do this at each dressing change.

**Q: What is expiration date ?**
A: There's no expiration date on Vashe after opening per Vashe rep.

**Q: Is it colorless?**
A: Yes. It resembles a Dakins Solution. Works better though.

**Q: Do you apply this solution to gauze and leave it on a wound or is it meant to be applied while cleaning the wound only?**
A: Cleaning only. The wound care doctor says to dampen gauze, spread over the wound, let it sit 5 minutes and remove, then continue with wound medications as prescribed and dressing as prescribed. Not meant to be left on the wound.
