What is their purpose?** A: They keep the metal sections from rubbing on each other (and damaging the painted finish) when you have it folded. Keep them there. I found out the hard way that if you don't use them, the edges of the folded sections rub together and ruin the look of the cane at the joints. **Q: I'm 5' tall and having trouble finding a can that is short enough for me. Do you think this cane will work?** A: I am about 5’ 2” and thought the cane was perfect. It has 3 adjustments, so I think you should have no problem with it. **Q: I see that other canes offer different bases that adjust to your moves. Are there any for this cane?** A: Most bases fit a standard size cane. This is a standard size cane so you should be able to attach one. **Q: Can the handle be replaced** A: maybe from the manufacturer? ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Switch Sticks - Parapluie - Bubbles *by on Reviewed in France 12 August 2019* TB, solide et motif va avec tout ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ più bello che in foto! *by on Reviewed in Italy 25 October 2018* Solido, regolabile, leggero e bellissimo. A mia madre è piaciuto moltissimo. Veramente alla moda; non è il bastone triste che ti ricorda ad ogni passo che sei vecchio! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This cane is fantastic *by on Reviewed in Canada 31 March 2022* This cane is amazing. I needed a cane for a recent trip so I borrowed this one from a friend. The first thing I did when I got home was order my own and I’ll tell you why. This cane was very light but also sturdy which allowed me to walk aroundall day comfortably. I never felt off balance or like the cane was too heavy - it was the perfect combo of sturdy and light. The fold up feature was amazing so I could stuff it in my backpack when I wasn’t using it. The cane pieces are magnetic so it’s really easy to put back together again. The handle is really comfortable and easy to grip. It also looks great without being really flashy or too boring. It’s a really good quality cane for the price. My friend has had hers a long time and it’s still in great shape. Don’t hesitate to invest in this cane! ## Frequently Bought Together - Switch Sticks Walking Cane for Men or Women, Foldable and Adjustable from 32-37 Inches, FSA and HSA Eligible - Vive Cane Tip - Self Standing Quad Base Replacement for Most Walking Canes, Walking Sticks, Folding Canes or Offset Quad Pod or Tripod Canes - 4 Prong Rubber Cane Foot Pad - Vive Folding Cane - Foldable Walking for Men, Women Fold-up, Collapsible, Lightweight, Adjustable, Portable Hand Stick Balancing Mobility Aid Sleek, Comfortable (Black Butterfly) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/301019936-switch-sticks-designer-folding-walking-stick-folding-walking-cane-collapsible](https://www.desertcart.at/products/301019936-switch-sticks-designer-folding-walking-stick-folding-walking-cane-collapsible) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
