Ive have tried a couple different tabs from this product and they wont dissolve in water (as directed by the Breville manual)** A: They do not expire , they have a shelf life of 4 years from production date stamped on the pack . To dissolve them use hot water and crush the tablets **Q: Do these fit the breville bes870xl?** A: Yes **Q: Do these tablets contain Phosphates?** A: They do contain phosphates...Ingredients:Sodium carbonate 10-30%, Sodium percarbonate 10-25%, Sodium lauryl sulfate 1-5%, Phosphates >30%, Oxygen releasing bleaching agent 5-15%, Anionic surfactant <5% **Q: Can you dissolve one of these to clean the milk frother? breville came with a few packets of milk frother cleaner (sodium carbonate and precarbonate)** A: I do not know for sure. I never used them for that purpose. I would ,however call Breville Customer Service before I do it. There could be a reaction between the tabs and the milk residue.. Better to be careful than sorry..
