You need to place it on a level surface, and I recommend putting it on top of something soft, like a bath towel, because the ball bearing is fairly heavy and makes a lot of noise when it falls off the wooden game board and hits a hard surface, plus it’s a danger to glass table tops. The game seems well made of wood and metal, no plastic, and takes only seconds to put together. It’s a little more expensive than other models, but the quality makes it worth the price.
