Only on the wholes provided on the clock, NEVER ON GEARS. Later see the DEAD MAN WALKING. That's why I call it MAGIC OIL. VERY VERY EXPENSIVE but worth it. Buy it & experince the usefulness of the oil.
Review: I have a few old clocks (30s to 60s). I watched a few videos online, and then used this clock oil to lubricate them. And it really works well! I don't think I'll be able to use it all in my lifetime as it really only requires a drop on each area in the clock, applied with a needle.

I purchased this to revive an old cuckoo clock that was stored in a damp basement. The clock works great! Note that this does not come with an applicator. I already had that tool, so it was a good value to just buy the oil. Nice product. Does the job well.
