## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this just a case or full server like the HPE microserver?**
A: Its a case. You add mobo and other hardware. I use it freenas to run plex. The 4 hotswap drive are easy access while rest of hardware is inside case.

**Q: There appears to be a spot on the top for a dvd/cd drive. Can one be installed? If so, what would I need to look for when choosing one that will fit?**
A: Yes, one can be installed! It takes a laptop-style internal DVD/CD drive with SATA data and "Slimline" SATA power (the case's included PSU has a slimline sata power cable of the appropriate length for this very purpose.

In my case, I chose to mount an additional 2.5" SSD in that area (as a ZIL/write cache), as a DVD/CD rom drive for my NAS server didn't do me much good. **Q: what motherboard is compatible with this case?**
A: itx

**Q: Can this case be modded? i want to remove the nas bays and build this as a regular pc build. is it possible?**
A: No need to mod it.  I am useing it as a regular PC.  If you remove the drive bays the only place left to put a hard drive would be where the optical drive goes.
