Happily - I was hesitant to purchase these after I read another review that claimed they didn't have a good finish. Happily, this was not true. They are sturdy, smooth, and are the exact same size as the broken hinges on my bass boat. Now, no more broken hinges, and I didn't even have to drill! Review: This is pretty thin material - This is pretty thin material, and there is a lot of slop in the hinge pin. Biggest problem I see is that the pin does not appear to be stainless. It is highly magnetic, while the leaves of the hinge appear to be 100% stainless. Nevertheless, I've bought them, they were cheap, and I will use them on my sailboat to replace some corroded Zamak hinges. ## Features - Stamped 304 stainless - Sold per pair - 2" x 2" size ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000ZFPWBC | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,686,357 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #728 in Boat Cabinet Hardware & Hinges | | Brand | Sea-Dog | | Brand Name | Sea-Dog | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 10 Reviews | | Finish Type | Unfinished | | Finish Types | Unfinished | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00035514201896 | | Included Components | SEADOG | | Item Dimensions L x W | 2"L x 2"W | | Item Type Name | Sea Dog 201072-1 Butt Hinge - 2" | | Item Weight | 3.04 ounces | | Manufacturer | Sea-Dog | | Manufacturer Part Number | 3004.34 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | LIMITED WARRANTY | | Model Number | 3004.34 | | Mounting Type | Face Mount | | Product Dimensions | 2"L x 2"W | | UPC | 035514201896 | | Unit Count | 1 count | ## Product Details - **Material:** Stainless Steel - **Brand:** Sea-Dog - **Product Dimensions:** 2"L x 2"W - **Finish Type:** Unfinished - **Mounting Type:** Face Mount - **Unit Count:** 1.00 Count - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00035514201896 - **Manufacturer:** Sea-Dog - **UPC:** 035514201896 ## Images ![Sea-Dog 201072-1 Butt Hinge - 2" - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/8140OwMIreL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... read another review that claimed they didn't have a good finish. Biggest problem I see is that the pin does not appear to be stainless. It is highly magnetic, while the leaves of the hinge appear to be 100% stainless. Poor finish, sloppy fit pin/hinge. Very rough holes. Raised metal and burr on back side. Perhaps other reviewer received better product than I did. What I received was low quality that is some times related to Chinese manufacturing. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/30447011-sea-dog-201072-1-butt-hinge-2](https://www.desertcart.at/products/30447011-sea-dog-201072-1-butt-hinge-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
