Needless to say I've tried a least a dozen spot cleaners for carpets and several that claimed they worked well on animal messes. Each and everyone of them left residue that eventually would collect dirt and the "cleaned" spot would reappear. Then I found MisterMax Stain Remover online. It truly is amazing. Each spot requires two applications. One that you leave on for 15 minutes and the second one you use when you rub and blot the area. Let dry and vacuum. It sounds like quite a bit of work but if a spot cleaner claims that all it takes is a little treatment I don't believe it. It doesn't leave residue that attracts dirt. I gave a bottle to my nephew, who was housebreaking a puppy, and they couldn't believe how well it worked.
