Review: A Very Nice Tool For A New TIG User. - I'm teaching myself Tig welding on thin metals with 1/16" Tungsten electrodes and wanted a smaller flex head torch as soon as I head that they existed. This RiverWeld WP-9F looks good, fit my hand well, forms well, and performs very well to my untrained eyes as used with either a more flexible or less flexible hose. Would definitely buy again.
Review: Well worth it. - Nothing glitzy about this torch... came in a zip lock bag. But I didn’t make this purchase because of marketing. I bought it because I sent my shop welder in for repairs and the rental I got came with an air cooled 17 style torch with a gas valve. I’m used to a water cooled 20 style and it’s much smaller... same size as this wp-19f. I thought for $11 it should get me through the few weeks I’ll have the rental machine. I got to work and screwed it on to the TIG lead and was striking an arc a minute later. I put it through it’s paces for about 30 minutes... running some beads on scraps in the shop like 20 gauge stainless sheet, 1/4” steel angle, and even put 145 amps through it running a few beads on some aluminum. Stable arc and didn’t get too warm. The only thing I could maybe find wrong with it is the flex neck is a little soft. It bends really easy and doesn’t feel like it will last too long. Still not enough for me to ding it a star.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I swap these often to keep them cool

I buy these and keep multiple on hand ready to go. Used at the upper end of the amperage range they tend to wear out quickly, but I flex it on almost every weld. If you weld for a hobby buy a couple and just have them ready to go. You can also set up a few and when they get hot just swap them hand tight. Who needs a water cooled tig anyway?
