Is it plastic?** A: Yes, it's plastic, but very smooth and flexible (also swivels). To get the "curls" out, you can dunk it in hot water, and then stretch it straight and run it under cold water immediately after the hot water dunk. I do this with all my circular cords and it works really well. **Q: How fine of yarn can the needles reasonably handle? Specifically, has anyone had any issues with the tips being too blunt?** A: I haven't had difficulty with the tips being too blunt, but neither have I used very fine yarn. I could see where that may be an issue. **Q: Are replacements available for both the Size 8 bamboo needle and 36 " swiveling cord?** A: I wrote to CloverUSA on this matter:"Yes all of the cords and needles are available on our website and sold individually. You can also find them on Amazon. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with. Thank you for choosing Clover Needlecraft. Sincerely,Jacquelyn CruzCustomer Service "I have not been able to find them on their website, but they are on Amazon **Q: Are these compatible with Knitpicks or Knitter's Pride interchangeable needles?** A: No they are not. ## Frequently Bought Together - Clover Takumi Combo Interchangeable Circular Knitting Needles - Clover Interchangeable Cord Stoppers (2pcs.) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/3141852-takumi-combo-interchangeable-circular-knitting-needles](https://www.desertcart.at/products/3141852-takumi-combo-interchangeable-circular-knitting-needles) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
