I had first pass success creating a 2nd-order low pass filter using one of the proto boards, a few jumpers, an opamp and some discrete components.The proto boards have interlocking tabs and can be mechanically connected, and have an adhesive pad on the bottom that can be exposed for attachment to another surface. Time will tell how well the proto boards hold up, but at this price point I'm not going to have any complaints.
