I use this with my Sony FE 200-600mm lens and it gets good pics. Low lighting is not the best, but that could be said for that lens in general. Review: When you need it - well, you need it - I guess if you absolutely need super fast, super bright, super long zoom... this won't solve your problem. However, when I use this on my 2.8 70-200 GMii, the results are fantastic. Obviously, halving the aperture is a compromise and can impact the AF unless in bright conditions, but for my use cases, it is acceptable. I do notice the predictable softening and vignetting in the corners but again, I don't expect 400mm 2.8 prime results... and I didn't drop $13K.
