Would not buy again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product! *by on Reviewed in the United States July 6, 2019* Loved this product! Long time BMX bike rider, and have used this kit several times. Would work like a charm for small punctures. Those that say it doesn't work probably did not apply it correctly, or had a tube that wasn't going to be able to be patched in the first place.-Patching a Tube-You will need: Patch kit with rubber cement and scraper tool, cigarette lighter, 2 flat wooden blocks, vise or clamps.Before you begin: Check your tire for signs of bad wear or sharp objects. Check the inside of your rims to ensure your spokes threads are not poking through your rim strip. If you do not have rim strips, which I highly suggest getting a set ($2-3) you can use duct tape and rip appropriate sized strips making a thin layer around your rim to cover the spoke holes.1) Identify the area where the hole is by slightly inflating it. You will hear it and physically feel the air. Once found, deflate the tube and use the scraper tool on the hole area. (this scratches whatever coating, dirt, grease, etc. off the rubber so the patch will stick better)2) Apply a liberal amount of cement on the scraped area.3) Cut an appropriate sized square for the patch, then remove the blue film from the one side and place that side down onto the cement. Apply pressure on the patch with your thumbs.4) Carefully peel off the clear film from the top side of the patch. Apply just a bit more cement across the top side with your finger, and also around the edge of the patch. Do NOT use a lot for this step, a dab will do.5) Use the cigarette lighter safely in this next step! Holding it safely away from your face, light the cement on the top, then IMMEDIATELY blow out the flame. (This heats up the cement and rubber at the edges and makes for a stickier patch. If done quickly it will only burn the cement and not the rubber.)6) Place the tube, with the area that is patched, between two small flat wooden blocks, then put the clamp over the wooden blocks and tighten them down as much as you can. (pressure is KEY here, and the wooden blocks should not puncture the tube further)7) Leave it clamped for at least 15-20 mins to ensure the cement is fully dry. (I would even wait 30-60 mins to be safe, depending on the situation you're in.)8) Remove the clamp, pull the tube out.
