Make sure you have a drill and hex drill bits before you buy this

*by M***6 on Reviewed in the United States on September 11, 2017*

I wish bad things happen to whoever designed this thing to require drilling to install but also made all its screws have hex sockets. If you're like me, who only have a simple drill kit with only phillip and flat drill bit, it is physically impossible to install this rack properly. The holes connecting the pieces together were unnecessarily tight, all six screws were stripped while only a bit more than half way in, and I'm pretty sure the tiny crank that came with the rack took some skin off my fingers. The long screws that secure the rack onto the wall also have hex sockets, and I had to drill holes in my wall and then use the little crank to get the screws in there. There's one screw on the top of the front piece, and two on two ends of the back piece. The top screw went in with no problem, but the bottom two had huge problems. The screw holes are located near the ends of the back piece where it connects to the front piece, and you can forget about drilling those: there's barely any space to even use the tiny crank.Despite a very much imperfect assembly and installation, the rack seems to be completely stable with two pots and two pans hung on it. But it's only been a little more than 2 hours after I installed it, who knows what's going to happen in the future.Edit 1/21/2019: I'm hanging two cast iron pans and a bunch of other stuff on the rack ever since I bought it and it appears as stable as its first day. So I'd consider the money well spend despite the installation that's a pain in the ass.

Making one yourself would be easier than painting and assembling this one.

*by M***M on Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2018*

Problem 1)The directions indicate that the rack can be spray painted a different color if you don't like the grey. What they don't tell you is that the powder-coated Finish is coated in something that cannot be removed with normal paint prepping cleaner, so when you spray it, the paint will instantly craze. I used the exact manufacturer and type of paint the instructions recommend, and was left with a gummy rough finish. The only solution to remedying this would have been to remove the messed up spray paint and whatever Alchemy of finish ruined it the first time. Fortunately, I have access to a media Blaster and was able to sandblast the Finish down to bare metal. Spray painted the bare metal and it looks great.HOWEVER...Problem 2)With all of the pieces painted and ready to go, I go to assemble them together and find that the screws are made of a material way too soft to warrant hexes. They provide you with a little hex Allen key, which is smart because even with that low torque little hand tool, I stripped the hexes and had to replace the screws with real Hardware.Problem 3)First off, shame on me for not checking everything first. However, if you're going to sell a pot rack and all of the hardware to assemble it, you should probably put all of the holes where all the screws go. The instructions clearly indicate to use one of those little hex screws to attach the main curve to the vertical support however, THERE ARE NO HOLES TO PUT THE SCREWS THROUGH! Those crappy soft little screws barely made it through the holes they provided, there sure as heck not self tapping screws that are going to make it through a flat steel bar. Back out to the garage with a plethora of professional tools and we had to carefully brace the curve to try to drill two holes in it that should have been put there by the manufacturer. And even with the utmost care, this piece will need to be Re-sprayed.Bottom line, I got a great deal on this from the Amazon warehouse (now I know why it was returned) BUT it still wasn't worth it! If it were one thing maybe, but all of these problems make me almost want to throw this thing in the scrap bin. It would have been cheaper and less time-consuming to make one myself from Flat steel bars.

... that would fit my tiny kitchen and this was perfect! Super easy to install and sturdy

*by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2016*

I searched for weeks and weeks to find a pot rack that would fit my tiny kitchen and this was perfect! Super easy to install and sturdy! Its made of metal and the hangers move easily to accommodate different sized pots and pans. The hooks have different options and are bent this way and that so you can angle the pots and pans to fit together in such a small space. It also comes with all the harware you need for installation. I did use a cordless drill for installation. It arrived the same day my new pots and pans came (thank you prime shipping ;) I unpacked everything and waited until my husband got home as he is the "I'll do it" guy on putting stuff together at our house. But he got busy and I took into my own hands. I came to the conclusion that I was being an idiot and should have put it up hours earlier. It was so easy! It took me about 10 minutes and I was hanging up my new pots quickly.I've had it up for a few months now and it does not collect dust, and is really easy to clean. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a way to hang their pots and pans in a small kitchen. After looking at every option I could find in any online store, this one is the most compact and well built I could find. This would be great in a camper, rv, small cabin...or just kitchens with limited wall space.
