Review: Useful power connector for generic devices - I make all sorts of devices, and when I need them to plug into the wall safely, I like to use a generic inlet like this one. What makes this really nice is that it includes a fuse and a lit switch. It's pretty easy to change the fuse, and it can make the difference between making an electronics project or a fire hazard.
Review: Good DPST, fused switch. Convenient spaded terminals - All the wiring is spaded, so if for some reason you want to, you can replace it, e.g. change to heavier gauge. The fuse inside is a glass tube, mine says 15A.... To test the fuse and wiring I ran a 16A load for about 2 minutes. The wiring did not get warm at all. The fuse didn't blow, but I did not want to run higher to see where it would. The crescent terminals fit fine into a meanwell power supply screw-down terminals. Switch is stiff, unlikely to get accidentally turned on or off. Overall I'm happy with it. Used one on a power supply project, will find a use for the other someday.
