Review: Well made and help stop the movement in camper - Bought these to help stop the movement inside our camper when going outisde, and it works well. The steps are easy to install and raise and lower and are well made for heftier people even. Noce width on the step also.
Review: really stabilizes those aluminum ones that don't hit the ground - I had the old school heavy metal three step on my old trailer. They are indestructible and stable, but heavy for sure. The new trailer had the new three step fold down aluminum ones. They are well made but flexible, lets say as you step down on that last step and it looked like another couple of years I might need to think about new ones. AND, I don't like those ones that fold up into the trailer... So, saw these and got them. You carefully measure your bottom step drill the holes and put it one. It is really heavy duty made, not light fragile looking parts. It has a range of adjustments including if one side or the other is higher or lower an once you have done it a couple times its pretty easy to set up simply by folding up your bottom step, it sits there right in front of you and pull the arms out sticking the pins in and adjusting the feet in or out as a further adjustment. I get it right generally on first time now. Occasionally have to move something in or out as a second adjustment. On an overnight, I don't bother... It is nice getting a solid feel as you step down instead of the bottom step sort of flexing and feeling like it is bending even if it isn't. I put install as a four. I have the tools and background to do this. It might be a 2 or 3 star if you aren't "handy" and you could drill a hole in the wrong place if you don't get it right. So measure twice, drill once... Check your assumptions at the door before starting. Always good advice. Remember up toward the front as a general rule and the front while down, not with the step flipped up. A second pair of hands could come in...handy...at one point in the install.

**Q: Since this bolts to the bottom step is the middle step still bouncy or does it help the other steps also?**
A: The middle step can still move, but it's the bottom step with most of the leverage that rocks the trailer. It doesn't take out all of the motion, just most of it.

**Q: My bottom step is only 5 1/2" off of ground so will the legs extend enough for support?**

Once you have measured the height of your bottom step and the height of the awning legs, you can compare the two measurements to see if the awning will be able to support your RV. If the height of the awning legs is greater than or equal to the height of your bottom step, then the awning should be able to support your RV.

**Q: Does this fit Kwikee 41 series power steps that are 24 inch long rectangle and not radius?**
A: As long as there’s no frame going around the steps I don’t see why not ….. mine are 24 “ power steps

**Q: what tools are needed to install this?**
A: You will need a drill, a screwdriver and a wrench. You put a masking tape on the back of the last step to mark your center point and the spots to drill. The video on the Lippert site is very clear about the way to install the stabilizer.
