The reticle is great for either dialing range changes or using hold over/under in elevation. Because of the 56mm objective, you need a minimum 1.46" scope height (to centerline) with most combinations of ring and base coming to 1.50'' for 40 thou clearance. You'll need a base to fit your rifle, unless they are integral to the rings, and the base and rings must be of the same style; weaver, picatinny, etc... Glass is clear, turrets are much more tactile than I’d thought. Not squishy like the diamondback tactical. The eyebox is very nice and black ring is very thin. We’ll see how durable it is over time but overall this is a very good optic for only $350-ish price range.
