Youd atill need to wipe off prep surface with IPA solution or a paint prep. Then add a wax ,sealant ,or ceramic coating to get hydrophobic properties. **Q: Can this be used on leather interior? There is a video on YouTube recommending this product to remove sunscreen from the interior.** A: I have only ever used it on the exterior. As a polish, it has very mild abrasive qualities.
