I don't like clocks usually cause they have that annoying tic-toc sound. I don't hear that (however if you put your ear to the clock you hear it's gears working but it not very noticeable unless you put your ear to it.) Takes AA batteries which is easy to get. I buy them in bulk at 1$ stores to save money, so this clock is worth getting, the price is worth it too.
