Smith & Nephew Opsite Post-Op Transparent Waterproof Dressing with Absorbent Pad is a revolutionary post-operative dressing combining a high Moisture Vapour Transmission Rate (MVTR) film and the cushioning and absorbency of a low adherent pad together with an easy application carrier system. The hydrophilic polyurethane film on this dressing has reactic properties that Switch On in the presence of moisture allowing any excess to transpire into the atmosphere. High MVTR - The patented REACTIC film has a unique molecular structure making it significantly more permeable to water vapor than ordinary films in the presence of moisture. Waterproof film - Patient can shower with the dressing in place. Bacterial barrier - Helps protect the site against extrinsic contamination, reducing the risk of infection by bacteria. I did buy 4 -5 other bandages only to find that they did not stay in place or they were not waterproof! I would buy these over and over. I used them for a surgical incision on my back. They never roll up or off and are easy to apply

This is an excellent product. I have ordered and used many times and I recommend it. I do have a complaint to the seller/shipper. This product is packaged in paperboard boxes. You shipped them in a paper bag. Both of my product boxes are broken open because a paper bag cannot protect the product inside. You should provide better mailing packaging to protect your product that we are buying.
