The main compartment is very roomy. It has enough room for her zipper binder and her lunch bag, plus shoes. There's a smaller compartment in the front and then a very small compartment in front of that. All zipper closures. The handle comes up nice and tall and is perfect for her Grade 3 height and I find it comfortable myself on days where I roll it home because she's gone off on a play date! :) The wheels have already taken a ton of abuse (she just lets it bang down on stairs) and they look like they'll last a long time. She hasn't used the shoulder straps yet, but they're nicely padded and I'd think they'd be very comfortable. Its too flimsy, I bought these for my 5 yo twins to "pack" their toys. Its perfect for a little, kid or light use. But wouldn't last long in real world use. The wheels and handle are very cheap and will probably break if you drop this thing. It's also probably too small. **Q: Is it mostly for kids?** A: We used it for our kids vacation carry on case but it could also be used for an adult. The handle periscopes to a height that an adult could use it with no problem. **Q: does that include the wheels and handle in the demensions?** A: Not including handle and wheel **Q: does this have a matching lunch box?** A: I did not see one when I ordered it. They will drag on the ground and get ruined, one of ours has a rip. The shoulder straps can be tucked away if you remember to do it.
