I bought this for my son's when he left for college in August. For reference, it is now Black Friday. So, this bag has been going college strong for nearly 4 months now. First of all, this is a large bag and holds a week worth of clothing for a 6' male (towels, washcloths, jeans, shirts, hoodies, workout clothing, undergarments, etc.). Not only is it big enough to hold it all, it is strong enough to hold it all. The pocket on the front is nice and he uses it for his Gain Pods and whatever. There is also an interior pocket that he does not use. Tge stitching is good, the color is neutral, and the price was right. Another nice feature is the material which can be wipes clean or thrown in the wash with your clothes, if needed. If your kid does that though, I would tell them not to put it in the dryer though. Again, this is a big bag so if you have a small 5'3" girl who has to luggage her clothes across campus, this bag might not be good for her.
