Review: Wire directly to boat power! - I mounted this on my console and wired directly to breaker panel on my boat. Since the 2 batteries are 12vdc wired in parallel, this is possibly simply by soldering wires to either (+) and (-) of the battery terminals. Only need to drill a small hole in the back mounting base in order to pass the wire through. This works way better than having a battery in there that not only needs periodic replacing, if you dont replace it often enough, it will corrode and eat away the battery terminals. Happens all the time with salt water environments!
Review: Perfect - Works just as described, so much better than the handheld remote.

## Features

- Not compatible with Stryker ST Series, Gobee Series or any hardwired only units

Works just as described, so much better than the handheld remote.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Direct replacement
*by J***N on 19 July 2023*

Replaced the remote that came on my 2014 center console, The original remote finally quit after almost 10 years. This one looks exactly the same, worked perfectly from the moment I put the batteries in. I was concerned I might need to program it, or pair it with the spotlight on my boat. But I didn't need to. Worked great right out of the box.
