So I ordered this cable which is Ethernet ready and installed it on both my home internet router and my printer. And what to my joyful eyes...everything worked again just like it is supposed to work. I am happy as a clam. I worked and sweated for two solid days to try and fix this problem and this inexpensive little cable got the job done the second it was installed with no hassles at all...all automatic. I am over-joyed to have found this cable. I can print off my computer again with no delays, no problems and with the highest quality printing. Yes, this cable is a virtual life saver and i heartily recommend it. It is the proper thickness, not too little, not too much--it is unbelievably easy to use, (Plug and Play), built to last for a long long time, works instantly (For me anyway) and I am so happy with this little device and would order it again and again if the need ever arose. Review: Excellent Quality Cat 6 Cable for Longer Network Runs. - I’ve used Cable Matters products for a number of networking installations, and this 25-foot Cat 6 Ethernet cable continues to provide the quality and reliability I expect from the brand. It is a good choice when you need a longer patch cable without wanting to terminate and test a custom cable for the installation. The 25-foot length works particularly well for connecting switches, workstations, access points, cameras, VoIP equipment, and other network devices where the equipment is located farther away from the network drop or rack. I also appreciate the snagless connector design, especially when routing cables through equipment racks or around other installed cabling. The molded protection around the connector helps keep the RJ45 retaining clip from catching or breaking during installation. The cable itself feels substantial and well constructed without being excessively difficult to route. The 24 AWG copper construction is also something I prefer for permanent or professional installations rather than purchasing the cheapest lightweight Ethernet cable available. Connections have been stable, and I have not experienced intermittent links, unexpected speed negotiations, or other connectivity problems during use. The RJ45 connectors seat securely into network equipment and provide a positive connection. For professional networking work, cabling is one area where saving a few dollars on an unknown cable can create unnecessary troubleshooting later. A network cable should simply establish the connection and continue working without becoming something you have to think about. That has been my experience with this Cable Matters cable. Overall, this is a dependable, well-built Cat 6 cable that I would comfortably use for business networks, equipment racks, workstations, surveillance equipment, or home networking installations. ## Features - High-Performance Connectivity: This Cat 6 ethernet cable is designed for superior performance, with a 24 AWG copper wire core. Consider the full path the cable will take, including routing around furniture, walls, or equipment. Adding a few extra feet can help accommodate unexpected changes. Accurate measurement helps ensure the best fit for your setup. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B007NZGPAY | | Best Sellers Rank | #2 in Cat 6 Ethernet Cables | | Brand | Cable Matters | | Brand Name | Cable Matters | | Cable Type | Cat 6 | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | Computer, Router | | Compatible Phone Models | VoIP phones | | Connector Type | RJ45 | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 22,521 Reviews | | Data Transfer Rate | 10 gigabits_per_second | | Ethernet Cable Category | Cat 6 | | Frequency | 550 MHz | | Gauge | 24 | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00738435981938 | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor, Outdoor | | Item Length | 25 feet | | Item Shape | Round | | Manufacturer | Cable Matters | | Model | 160001BLK25 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pins | 8 | | Other Special Features of the Product | 10Gbps | | Outer Material | Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) | | Part Number | 160001BLK25 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Data | | Special Feature | 10Gbps | | Specification Met | EIA, TIA | | UPC | 738435981938 | | Unit Count | 25 Feet | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Cable Matters - **Cable Type:** Cat 6 - **Compatible Devices:** Computer, Router - **Connector Type:** RJ45 - **Special Feature:** 10Gbps ## Images ![Cable Matters 10Gbps Snagless Cat 6 Ethernet Cable, 25ft, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61eW6g833-L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What devices are these Cat6 cables compatible with?** A: These cables work with any device featuring a standard RJ45 Ethernet port, including computers, routers, switches, servers, printers, IP cameras, VoIP phones, and network storage devices. **Q: What Ethernet speeds and standards do these cables support?** A: They support up to 10Gbps Ethernet (10GBASE-T) and are backwards compatible with 10/100/1000 Mbps networks.
