Calcium and carbonates are essential to all coral growth. If either becomes deficient, coral growth will cease, followed by a rapid decline in coral health. To prevent this you must provide calcium (Reef Complete) and carbonates (Reef Builder or Reef Carbonate). Reef Complete also includes magnesium and strontium in amounts proportionate to typical utilization ratios (100:5:0.1, Ca:Mg:Sr). This allows one to maintain these two important elements while maintaining calcium. Review: Amazing! - This product is amazing. I have always had a difficult time with coralline algae but once I started to use it's made a huge difference. I now have purple spots showing up everywhere even on my ornaments. Also since using this my pulsing Xenia have grown rapidly, I have new growths literally every couple days or 3 days and I have only been using this for about 2 weeks maybe 3. This stuff is amazing Review: Easy to add for small reef tanks - Reef complete is an easy to add supplement for small reef tank to maintain calcium. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000256976 | | Best Sellers Rank | #104,336 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #1,952 in Water Treatments | | Brand | Seachem | | Brand Name | Seachem | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 733 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00000116033305 | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Weight | 0.6 Kilograms | | Liquid Volume | 500 Millilitres | | Manufacturer | Seachem | | Manufacturer Part Number | 333 | | Model Number | 333 | | Number Of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Pet Type | Fish | | Target Species | Fish | | UPC | 015568976964 000116033305 | | country-of-origin | USA | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Seachem - **Item Form:** Liquid - **Item Weight:** 0.6 Kilograms - **Liquid Volume:** 500 Millilitres - **Number of Packs:** 1 ## Images ![Seachem Reef Complete 500ml - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/715iiJ0uezL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: I have an activated carbon reactor, will the reactor remove this stuff?** A: I don't know the answer but I shut my off for a few hours. **Q: What distinguishes this from their regular calcium additive?** A: It's more than just calcium. It has all the elements of saltwater mixes. You use Reef Plus with this, and your saltwater tank gets the added vitamins and amino acids it needs to be healthy. **Q: Seachem reef calcium. will it help strengthen the shell of my freshwater turtle? i have a reeve’s turtle/chinese pond turtle.** A: Made for saltwater! Need better foods for your turtle. Pond turtles don't need calcium supplements because it's usually in the water if you do water replacements! **Q: My calcium (159) and magnesium (870) levels are low in my nano 13.5g saltwater tank. Will this boost both or do I also need a magnesium additive?** A: Water changes work better than anything in these smaller tanks. Is this a hard coral tank? I use Seachem Reef Complete and Reef Plus together. If its a coral tank and not a fish tank, then make sure your using a reef salt mix with those extra additives. You can also add Reef Rubble pieces to keep your levels up in between water changes. Smaller tanks need more water changes because things change quicker with less space. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing! *by J***H on 2 November 2023* This product is amazing.
