I know that it is durable and has been through the wash numerous times without cracking or drying out. The web belt stitching on the leather is in good shape also. If it is fake leather it is darn good fake leather. **Q: Are these metal free? My concern is with courthouse and airport security?** A: They attach to the belt, do you still have to remove your belt at the airport? **Q: Is the part that attaches to the belt made of plastic or metal. I'm looking for medal ones because the plastic ones bend up under the stress.** A: Plastic. Easy to get on and off to drop drawers etc. **Q: Do these work if the belt is 1/4" wide? I would like to use these in conjunction with my gun belt.** A: they work fine with my Hanks gun belt. I had to reverse the front clips as they kept popping off every time I bent over. A few minutes with a seam ripper and some decent thread will do the job. ## Frequently Bought Together - Perry Suspenders 2" Original - KUNN Men's Perry 1.5 inch Wide Suspender,Elastic Hook End Adjustable Suspenders - Perry Suspenders Original 1 1/2" --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/3368906-perry-suspenders-2-original](https://www.desertcart.at/products/3368906-perry-suspenders-2-original) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
