We have 210 gallon mixed reef and fish salt water aquarium with an increasing build up of purple algae near the bottom of the tank. We have magnetic scrapers and angled pole scrapers, but you really have to work at it to that stuff off -- sometimes for hours. 10 short minutes after un-boxing this scraper my wife tried it on the aquarium and finished an entire side and it looked beautiful, like the tank was brand new. This scraper took years of build up off in seconds, and you know what, for once it was actually fun to do the scraping.
