I had tried for six months to grow them out, to no avail, so then I bought Evonail. I used it twice a day. My nails are nearly all grown out now, except for one finger and both my thumbs, and it's been one year since they separated. Evonail might have helped, but I think the major factors in growing out the nail bed were not using nail polish and nail remover, cutting my nails down as far as I could, drying the nail beds with a hair dryer after getting my hands wet, getting an antibiotic after trapped water on the nail bed caused them to turn black, and pushing back the cuticles often. Review: my nails still became discolored and are lifting off the nail bed - I used this at least once a day during and after 4 rounds of taxotere/cytoxin chemotherapy and my nails still became discolored and are lifting off the nail bed. They probably aren't going to fall completely off because I have healthy nail growing in at the base and they aren't peeling or breaking but I had really strong nails before so I can't say for sure if the product helped at all.
