Review: Great sit/stand option!! - Thanks to sciatica, I had to start looking into standing options for my work desk. I have only 1 large monitor and keyboard and mouse. The two laptops and docking station do not fit on this riser but that is ok I just put them off to the side. The riser comes in one piece so no assembly. It is about 50 pounds and sturdy! Took two people to bring it upstairs. Worst part was clearing off my desk to put the riser on it. The mechanism is easy to use and locks in place at chosen positions. Easy to unlock to lie flat if you need to sit. It does rise up and towards you but I did not find that a problem at all as I have a decent sized office in my home. I recommend this riser and would buy it again if needed

Keep in mind of its weight limits and that as it lifts up it will move towards you, so take that in consideration for your workspace. Great quality product, and it's been a great addition to my personal workspace.

**Q: How long are the 2 feet on the desk? My desk is 24inches wide and I wonder if the base will still fit even if the keyboard tray hangs over the edge**
A: the legs are 24 inches wide and 24 inches deep.  My keyboard tray overhangs and is not an issue.

It arrived in excellent condition, and it is a decently heavy product. It comes assembled, and it locks in place very easily. Keep in mind of its weight limits and that as it lifts up it will move towards you, so take that in consideration for your workspace. This Vari standing desk converter came fully assembled. I just placed it (it is heavy, mind you) on my desk and it is fully functional right off the box. It is very easy to adjust the height of standing desk up or down. The unit is very stable even at its highest position. The upper deck for the monitor is about 4 inches high, which, although a little higher than my liking, isn't too bad. The lower deck/tray for key board extends to the full width of the converter thus provides ample space to work. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.
