**Q: Can a cat get in? Our cat is obsessed with bread so we have to keep it in the microwave currently.**
A: I just have to add that I am ALSO here to buy a breadbox to keep our cat away from the bread bags! I'm loving that I am not alone in this quest!

**Q: is the top flat?  could you place salt and pepper shakers, condiment bottles on the top?**
A: Flattish? Small salt & pepper shakers will fit. As well as small condiments.

**Q: Does it really keep breads fresher longer?**
A: I can't say yes for sure. But I think so. I kept my bread out in the open on the counter (not in the Fridge). I got this to clear off my kitchen counters. It certainly looks nicer and holds a couple of loaves and bagels as well. Works well for my situation. Hopes this helps.

**Q: Are they stackable?**
A: No they aren't stackable.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I like this bread box!

The size of this bread box is ample for a couple of loaves or a loaf and other baked goodies! It had a sheet of bubble wrap around it, inside of it's own product box and then in a sturdy Amazon box with the plastic pillow filling. It is in perfect condition; no scratches or dents. It appears to be very well-made and the door slides up into itself very smoothly and easily. I am planning to bake a couple of homemade loaves but I've noticed so far it keeps store bought bread fresh longer than it's expiry date. It has the ventilation holes to let out excess moisture from the baked goods and it lets air circulate within with the raised pattern on the bottom. I looked at a lot of bread boxes before I decided on this one and even ordered a different brand that I sent back and ordered this one instead and I'm very happy that I did. It also fits in with the stainless appliances and it looks very smart. Great purchase!
