I tried it and works fine with flex volt batteries. **Q: which batteries work with this tool? are they compatible with any stanley / porter cable / black+decker batteries?** A: The DCW600B is compatible with the DEWALT 20V battery line. It is not compatible with any other Brand. **Q: What is the run time you get out of a 2 amp, 4 amp, 5 amp battery?** A: Honestly I wouldn't recommend using a 2 amp at all. It would literally drain it in less than 5 minutes. I install cabinets and I use it for mini trenches for metal plating for the islands in the middle of kitchens.
