It smells very earthy and grassy. It is much better than some other brands on amazon. This particular brand is not very bitter and is probably a good choice if you are just starting out with matcha. Overall its a good matcha. Just a quick Tip!! avoid using soya milk if you are making a matcha Latte Either use normal Full fat milk or alternative milk like Almond, Oat and coconut. I make it both ways just with water and usually in the mornings when I am going to work I make a matcha latter. Also invest in a milk frother it makes it smoother when you drink your matcha latte.
