## Overview

The SHEWEE Flexi is a reusable, flexible female urination device designed and manufactured in the UK. Larger than previous models and made from durable polyolefin, it includes an extension pipe for improved range and accuracy. Weighing only 30g, it’s lightweight, easy to clean, and perfect for travel, festivals, and outdoor adventures, enabling women to urinate standing up discreetly and hygienically.

## Description

The Shewee was invented in 1999 by Samantha Fountain. Like many women, she was fed up with disgusting public toilets and decided to create the solution. She designed and manufactured the Shewee and became the first stand to pee device sold in the UK, allowing users to urinate whilst still wearing clothes. This would later become known as the “Shewee Extreme” and is still sold with the same design to this day. The Shewee captured an audience from all backgrounds- as a tool for hikers, campers, sailors and other outdoor hobbyists to stand to urinate in the wild; for festival frequenters, road trippers and globe trotters to avoid sitting on disgusting public toilets; and for those with limited mobility, recovering from surgery, pregnant women, and trans-men who use a Shewee to for medical and therapeutic reasons. Over the years of selling Shewee’s we listened to feedback and created a new model made from a flexible material. The Shewee Flexi was born! Made from polyolefin, it’s reusable, soft to the touch, and naturally repels liquid for easy cleaning. Much like the Shewee Extreme, the Flexi can be used for vast array of activities. The Flexi, however, has the advantage over the Extreme of being slightly larger and more comfortable to use. Therefore, the Flexi is best in situation where you can undress before use- such as in a toilet cubicle. For situations where you’re wearing clothing, such as in the outdoors, we would recommend the Extreme as the hard plastic form retains its shape. With the Flexi or the Extreme, we strongly recommend practicing in the shower first to ensure the best first proper use experience. This is for two main reasons: Technique and Confidence. The technique of getting your Shewee placement correct is crucial. It is important to leave a small gap at the front to allow air flow, which will cause your Shewee to drain urine much more rapidly due to the Venturi effect. Practicing in the shower can help build your confidence as the sensation of standing to urinate may be strange at first, and it is important to steady your flow of urine to mitigate the chance of the Shewee overflowing. The Shewee Flexi naturally repels water so when you’ve used it, shake it off and give it a rinse with water. When next suitable, you can properly wash your Shewee by using a mild soap and warm water. If your Flexi gets misshapen, you can soak it in hot water, and it will revert to its natural shape.

Review: Great idea for long days out with no toilets nearby - Excellent little funnel that gave me piece of mind on my holiday. We were going places with limited toilets and this served its purpose well. It does take some getting used to but after multiple uses, it becomes easier to use. I would say it’s easier to use with dresses and skirts rather than trousers and shorts though. It’s small enough to put into your bag. It would be useful having a plastic waterproof case sold with it but I just used my own plastic bag to put it in and swilled it with my water each time as we were having long days out. I do have to tilt it downwards when using it a little so that it’s more reliable. I practised using it in the toilet before using it out and about which I would highly recommend doing. I now take this with me on longer days out where I know toilets will be a problem. Very good value for money.

Wenn man so wie ich, gerne Latzhosen trägt, ist das Urinieren im Freien noch komplizierter, denn wohin mit den Trägern damit die nicht schmutzig werden und wenn man schon nicht mehr ganz so jung ist, fällt auch das Hocken oft schwerer. Dieses Produkt kann ich deshalb voll und ganz empfehlen. Der Sitz ist perfekt, erst dachte ich es sei zu schmal, aber nein, dadurch sitzt es wie angegossen. Zweimal geübt und kein Tropfen geht daneben :-) Das Verlängerungsrohr ist sehr praktisch, denn dadurch ist alles weit entfernt von der Kleidung und kein Tropfen geht auf die Hose, oder den Rock. Ein Tipp, einfach beide Teile in einen Frotteewaschhandschuh stecken, ein Papiertuch dazu, fertig ist das Notfallpaket ! Zuhause kann man den Waschhandschuh gleich in die Wäsche werfen und nach der Reinigung des Gerätes einfach einen frischen Waschhandschuh nehmen, Papier dazu und wieder in den Rucksack oder in die Jackentasche stecken. Kein feuchtes Beutelchen, kein Plastik-Abfall ( Umweltschutz ) und dickes Frottee saugt evtl. noch enthaltene Tröpfchen auf. Endlich entspannt Spazieren gehen, auch nach zwei Tassen Kaffee ! Fazit: Dieses Teil ist sehr zu empfehlen ! Ich habe es selber gekauft und mir hat Niemand für diese Rezension etwas angeboten, diese Rezension ist ehrlich und nur aus dem Gefühl heraus, Euch mitzuteilen, daß ich dieses Ding klasse finde ;-)

Excellent little funnel that gave me piece of mind on my holiday. We were going places with limited toilets and this served its purpose well. It does take some getting used to but after multiple uses, it becomes easier to use. I would say it’s easier to use with dresses and skirts rather than trousers and shorts though. It’s small enough to put into your bag. It would be useful having a plastic waterproof case sold with it but I just used my own plastic bag to put it in and swilled it with my water each time as we were having long days out.
