**Q: How cool does the interior stay when the fire is at 2000F?**
A: While this is flame retardant material, it offers little insulation which is why the sellers won’t provide a time based protection for the contents. If the temperature outside of the box is just under 2000F, then the contents won’t take long to reach the same temperature while the box itself will maintain its integrity but only for limited time depending on the thread and glues used.

**Q: What is the npfa or atsm rating for this box? stitching, zippers, feet would melt instantly.**
A: I do not understand your question but I can say this is exactly as advertised. It's very good quality and I would buy it again.

**Q: How do you push button “c”?**
A: All I want to say is for me I love those product. It was a great investment for me.

**Q: What is the time rating in a fire before the contents is damaged?**
A: Don't know if the Amazon site gave that info.

Love this fireproof file box. It’s got lots of additional pockets inside and out. I also love that it opens on the side like a file drawer. This someone helps with the organization. I was able to use hanging file folders in it. The silver trim abs study handles made it attractive and easy to move. I got this for important papers but plan to get another one of these styles fire my coloring books because of its storage capacity and pockets to house colored pencils and markers and other art supplies! I’m moving into a new apartment and not taking my file-locking desk. I needed something that would make me feel more secure holding my important documents and passport and stuff that could fit into a cabinet, but still be secure. This little box was just the thing! Although it’s collapsible, once opened it feels pretty sturdy and stays up on its own. I love the zipper lock on the side and the material feels good. File folders (sold separately) sit perfectly inside without interfering with the zipper or lid at all. For simple things in a small place this file box is perfect. When I eventually get a gun I would not use this, I would get an actual safe. But for documents and things to keep tucked away secure, this is perfect.
