Easy to use - add: vegetables, salt and spices. -- In as little as 5 minutes you can start batches of: pickles, Sauer kraut, kimchi or one of the 1000's of other fermented foods. The fermentium consists of a: base which holds 1 gallon of vegetables lid which allows pressure to be released but prevents outside air from entering weights to keep the vegetables submerged in brine while they pickle instructions with recipes attractive and versatile - the fermentium designed by Justin Crocker and Nicholas Stevens is modern, cool and looks great in any room. Interesting enough to be to be a table centerpiece but with its squared shape and flat lid, it also fits snugly into corners or under a shelves. When not being used for fermenting it works as a: cookie jar, punch bowl or vase! artistry - pickling is an enjoyable way to create new delicious things. What's your signature taste? Is it tangy?
