A: Mine was made in Taiwan.  I've found tools from Taiwan to be very high quality, unlike those from China which are often questionable.

A: You are joking right?!?!  On a lug wrench?!?  If you are using it as intended and properly I will replace it for you.  My friend benches 400 lbs, 3 reps of 10, leg lifts 1200 lbs 3 reps of 10 he used it and did not break it.
