## Description

Easy as one, two, three. Create three different sizes of vegetable noodles in a snap with OXO 3-blade hand-held spiralizer. From zucchini "pasta" to beet salad to potato au gratin, these uniform spirals are easy to make, fun and delicious. This spiralizer comes with interchangeable spaghetti cut (1/8-in), fettuccine cut (1/4-in) and ribbon cut blades that store on board. The open-blade design accommodates both long and round vegetables, and the food holder keeps hands safe and is easy to grip while turning down to the end of vegetables to minimize waste. The BPA-free hand-held spiralizer is dishwasher safe and the food holder acts as a cap for safe storage.

Review: Veggie Spiralizer - Definitely use the gripper part of the cap when you get close to the end of your vegetable you are using. It is very easy to cut your finger on the blades. Otherwise it worked great for the veggies I wanted to use. Also it is easy to clean up when you are done. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Inspired by that book, I got this spiralizer and also a Mueller Pro 4-blade crank spiralizer. With the Mueller, you turn a crank handle. With the Oxo you hold the veg in you hands and twist and push it into the spiralizer. The Oxo works like a Veg-ghetti (if you've ever tried one of those), but it does a better job, is easier to use, and is MUCH easier to clean. Compared to a crank spiralizer, the Oxo is a bit slow and tiring, but it works great for some vegs (especially softer vegs of odd shapes or sizes) where a crank spiralizer like the Mueller just won't work. So if you're into spiralizing things, it is good to have both types of spiralizer in your kitchen tool-kit. For an entry-level spiralizer (with the Mueller being the next step up), I give it high marks. It is inexpensive, compact, sturdy, and it is quick and easy to clean. And if you ever get a crank spiralizer, you will still want to keep it. It will still be the best tool for the job in some cases.

Definitely use the gripper part of the cap when you get close to the end of your vegetable you are using. It is very easy to cut your finger on the blades. Otherwise it worked great for the veggies I wanted to use. Also it is easy to clean up when you are done. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty good. The twisting handle needs to be improved.

I used this for making zucchini noodles and ribbons. It worked well, but took more arm strength than expected to twist the zucchini. The green handle that is supposed to help with twisting the vegetable is worthless. The prongs on the handle dig grooves into the zucchini without providing enough holding power to twist it.
