Our entire bed was SDH and when we hit the 12 month mark, the bottom sheet wore through in one area. I had used linen wash exclusively and never used fabric softener, rarely dried them and always on low if I did, etc. I contacted SDH and they could not have been less helpful. After sending the sheets back to them and contacting them multiple times to resolve, they finally said the sheets must have been over washed and dried. They offered no recompense whatsoever. I took the sheets into the local store and the salesperson told me we must not clip our toenails. I was insensed. I wrote to SDH and never received a reply. I vowed not to purchase a product from them again. I use the two flat sheets together now (one as a fitted). I guess they think that spending $300+ on a sheet shouldn't get you anything extra.
