    Discovered this band from watching 120 Minutes on MTV 20+ years ago.  The song "Blue Thunder" captured my attention, with the rest of the album holding up equally as well.  Light punk, not overproduced, with a singer that's not quite always on key (like The Flaming Lips) but still has a distinctive voice with a subtle beauty.

    This album rocks. One of my all-time favorites. Even in the age of digital musical, On Fire deserves to be listened to from beginning to end; with the sound of the needle hitting the vinyl and manually flipping to Side B and all. If you're waffling between buying this now or saving the money for something else, you're already beyond the point at which you should have just clicked the Buy Now button.
