It does come with a slick cover, but I just put a cotton pillow case over it (I have the 16" size cushion) to solve that problem. I also have a low file cabinet next to my computer desk. I put a cushion on that so I can put my feet up and be totally relaxed while I "compute" the day away ( I do need to get out more for exercise!). This is great product!

My butt isn't sore after sitting for hours. I am very overweight, so if you have the same butt pain as me you should get this. The gel I think helps support my big butt better than other cushioned seats I have tried. It has lost a little of its shape, but I found it didn't affect the quality of help for my butt.

It's firm enough to keep you supported, yet it yields enough to remain comfortable. No more pain! I like and dislike this gel cushion. This was recommended to me by a nurse due to an on and off lower back pain. In my office at home i use a mesh bottom chair... and i have no issues. At work, they won't give me a mesh bottom chair, so my lower back hurts after a few hours sitting. Pros: good quality; forces me to sit up straight. Cons: slides around too much
