The game really opens up with the larger campaigns available. We've played the first two, Dunwich and Carcosa, and they're great. Expect to replay certain scenarios as they can be full-party wipes. Pros: Deep deck-building options, with an experience system to unlock powerful new cards. The setting is Lovecraft 2.0 minus the worst of his legacy and keeping the best of it. The art, presentation, scenario design and constant innovation and novelty from card mechanics, scenario to scenario remain top-notch. It's a great game that gets better the more you play and add to it, but that comes as the cost of content. There's almost a decade worth and it's still going strong. Your wallet may cry. Should I get this or a second original core box?** A: For the most part, a second core box will allow you to make decks for any 2 characters (not for every choice of 3, though, but maybe every reasonable choice). There are a couple of cards in the revised core set which weren't in the original. **Q: If I already own the original core set but never got a second for 4 player play, should I get this or just another of the original core set?** A: Even with 2 core sets, there are 4 investigator combinations you can't make, if I recall. With the new revised core set, each of THOSE investigators actually have an included deck. The cost is greater but I'd recommend the revised one if you're planning to do 4 players. **Q: Does this add the Return To?** A: No, it does not. **Q: What is the difference between this revised game, and the original $35 game?** A: The revised core set adds some cards from other expansions to help new players have more options before buying expansions to the game. Lots of players have had to purchase two core sets in the past to have enough cards to play with 4 players, but I understand that this revised set gives you enough to play with up to 4 players without needing a second copy of the original game. (I only play with 2 players, so I can't say how well that works.) Everyone who plays with more than a couple of players highly recommend getting this revised set.
