I am not too sure I would use the term durable to describe these. If you are a recreational skater, yes, they're going to last for a while. But my daughter is a competitive skater, and over time, even the thickest boot cover is going to start fraying and shredding. These in particular have lovely metallic designs which wear down after tons of slides and lunges. Not the fault of the boot cover. Just inevitable.
