Gerade bei einem so alten Fahrzeug ist der Kunststoff natürlich über viele Jahre verwittert, verschmutzt und vermutlich auch mit alten Pflegerückständen belastet. Deshalb war mir eine saubere und fettfreie Oberfläche wichtig, bevor ich anschließend mit einer Kunststoffauffrischung weiterarbeite. Die Anwendung war unkompliziert. Die Oberfläche ließ sich gut reinigen und wirkte danach deutlich sauberer und vorbereitet für den nächsten Arbeitsschritt. Anschließend habe ich SONAX Kunststoff Neu Schwarz aufgetragen. Mit dem Gesamtergebnis bin ich wirklich sehr zufrieden. Die Stoßstange sieht natürlich nicht aus wie neu, das kann man bei dem Alter auch nicht erwarten, aber die Vorarbeit mit Prepare hat aus meiner Sicht wesentlich dazu beigetragen, dass die anschließende Auffrischung gut gelungen ist.
