The base is four footed and is relatively sturdy (other canes with huge footing cause tripping). The light is handy to have. I keep one in my car and a couple in my home. I gave three as gifts to others with mobility issues. Everyone loves them. The seller has been very dependable. The packaging is good and delivery is prompt and accurate. This is a five star combo of product and seller.
