How many terminals are on the back?** A: NO! It needs to activate a solenoid that is designed to handle the current. I am not at the boat but I think there are three terminals on the back, one being common. **Q: Can this switch be installed on the bow next to the windlass, in addition to the windlass switch already on the helm?** A: It's not something that I would do as it's not a weatherproof switch. On my boat, I've installed a handheld, wired remote at the bow.
