I don’t think live brine shrimp would work though. **Q: Can this be used in freshwater aquariums?** A: The bottles I have say Marine Use Only...sorry.However, I do use on food I give my Angels and Madag. Rainbows...which is freshwater. No harm that I can see. **Q: How long will a bottle last with normal use?** A: I use it only once a week. It last me a long time because I use other supplements on other days so about 5 months. 220 gallon tank **Q: is this the same as Zoecon?** A: Very similar. Selcon is the original formula.
