I have never use soap to clean the bottle, it haven't been necessary. It will be same procedure you use with a saline solution bottle from the pharmacy. The cleanest it is the better!!! **Q: When is the expiration date?(March, 2020)** A: The tube I ordered 3/19 has an expiration date of 12/23. **Q: Why does the gel & the spray combo pack different expiration dates then the box that they came in ?** A: The gel and spray are made separately. The expiry date on the box is the first one to expire but each product has its own expiry date **Q: Can I use for my animals?** A: I mainly used this product for my dry nasal membranes, but you peaked my interest and I did a little research. So I did find that Saline nasal sprays and pediatric nasal sprays can be given to puppies and dogs to alleviate dryness and nasal congestion associated with a cold. I would however double check with your Veterinarian to verify. They have a couple of very good products and the integrity to back them up. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent supplement to allergy meds *by B***P on March 11, 2020* Not using Rhinase as a treatment itself, but rather to mitigate medication side effects of drying and damage to nasal passages. Chronic runny nose and congestion--constantly sniffy, stuffy, and blowing my nose (rhinorrhoea/rhinitis). Have used Allegra, Atrovent, and Flunase over the last 4-5 years with good success (Atrovent nasal spray is a game changer) - however, all of these have caused recurrent, minor nosebleeds and bloody mucus due to drying out the nasal passages significantly. Enter Rhinase - I'm currently using Atrovent nasal spray 3x daily and Rhinase saline spray & gel 2x per day in between Atrovent uses. Rhinase saline rinses & cleans the nasal passages, and the gel is easy to put on a Q-tip and gently rub into the nose to further moisturize. Rhinase doesn't interfere with Atrovent, but I do space them out just so it won't 'wash away' any of the Atrovent. Bottom line = no more nosebleeds and barely any trace of blood or bloody mucus. And my nose feels clean and not dried out.
