I had some of the old one left and I’m covering a 2 inch wide space. It’s taking 7 to 8 minutes under the lamp to cure. This one only takes four minutes! It’s wonderful. It’s drying beautifully and much better than the first. It comes out shiny. It’s not tacky. It’s handling two layers of itself very well. Four minutes for the first layer and four minutes for the second layer. It is a great value for the money The only problem I have is it did not come with a squirt nozzle. It’s just a top and when you unscrew it, there’s no nozzle but luckily I had the nozzle from the last bottle. I'm using a 24w nail lamp, but it's taking about 15 minutes under it with a very thin coat** A: I use a 54w lamp for about 12 min then put in direct sunlight. There are much bigger lamps just for curing. Nail lamps are ok, but just don't have the power needed for thicker applications. Hope this helps. **Q: Using it to coat photos in tiny frames, do i still need a lamp? i used to use dg3 art gel, but cant find it** A: Yes you need a lamp or put it out in the sun for I believe an hour.
