**Q: Does this have a flame lock? I don't see mention of it anywhere - sorry if I overlooked it!**
A: This item does not offer a flame lock. The flame will go out as soon as the trigger is released. The flame may go out on the lowest setting.

**Q: How low will the flame go? Does it stay lit with an short flame? I've been searching in vain for a torch with a mild flame. They all go out on low.**
A: Difference between high and low is not much.

**Q: What altitude is this tested for?**
A: I have no clue.  I'm not much.  Where I am it is 650Ft above sea level.

**Q: Is there a specific butane can/brand or something needed to fill these?**
A: Any brand should work, it doesn't need a special tip.  I would recommend putting the fuel in in 1 or 2 second bursts.  Pumping it like seems to work best and wastes less.  Fuel is available lots of places from $1.50 to $4.00.  I wouldn't pay more than that.
